Stripping off as many clothes as possible seems like a logical way to keep cool, but it can apparently have the opposite effect.

“Sleeping naked does not allow moisture to evaporate between your body and sleeping surface,” warns SA Health. “Cotton clothing is ideal,” because it wicks sweat away from your body.

Of course, if you’re more comfortable sleeping naked, don’t slip into tight binding pyjamas just for the sake of it.
